Study On Government Performance Audit Of Water Environment

20th century was the century of oil, power has been launched in the fight over oil, but the 21st century will be the century of water, because as population growth, water shortage will be severe. The Chairman of World Water Council Saradjedine said that serious deterioration of land and water resources can not be seen as just an environmental issue, but rather should be viewed as a key issue of sustainable development about all states. The conclusions reached are based on such a basic fact that the world water crisis intensified, the human struggle for survival.In this context, it is very important for us to improve the situation of China's water environment and ecological environment, to promote sustainable development, and to meet the new challenges of the problem of water environment by correct analysis the current situation of water environment and the problems in our work, vigorously carrying out the performance auditing of water environment, establishing the standards and index system of the performance auditing of water environment.The article analysised the Government's audit work carrying out at home and abroad, and made a clear definition on the concept of water environment. At the same time, in this article we established two standards of performance audit, the basis standards and the high-level standers what is the foundation of PSR index system and the Government performance evaluation system of green GDP, and established Appraisal index system on these standers.
