In the increasingly fierce competition environment, market competition of metallurgical industry is not only by the advantage of technology and brand, the talents advantage and the innovation advantage of talents is more important. It is the core of corporate strategy competitive advantage that management innovation and technological innovation are supplied by the excellent talents. Concentrating maintenance human resource performance management is the key of realizing centralized equipment maintenance. Any enterprise will be eliminated in the relentless market competition without advanced performance management. At the same time any enterprise, without effective incentive mechanism, will lost talents, cohesion force, and motivation, even led to failure in the market competition.In this thesis, for employee performance management system of Valin lianyuan steel Co., maintenance center, a new optimization scheme was researched with the basic theory and method of performance management. First, the existing problems was analysed in detail about previous employee performance management system. Secondly, according to the problems existing in the performance management system, performance management system was redesigned and a new effective performance management has been established. Again, after operation for a period of time, the new performance management system was comprehensively assessed and summarized, improvement suggestions were put forward for its operation, management, and supporting measure in the future.Above-mentioned research achievement of performance management has been applied in Valin lianyuan steel Co., maintenance center. Practical application shows that this achievement can effectively solve the problem of previous personnel assessment, and establish new performance management system of modern enterprise. It has raised the management level of maintenance center. So it has certain reference and significance.
