Research On Cultivating New Farmers In Building New Socialist Countryside

At present, China is building a moderately prosperous society in a critical period, the Fifth Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the CPC proposed the requirements of "development of production, affluent life, civilization, clean and tidy villages and democratic management" in new countryside construction. In the new socialist countryside construction, new farmers are the subject of building a new countryside, we must train new farmers to attain this goal. New farmers play an irreplaceable role in the construction of new countryside:Cultivating new farmers is the important foundation of building a new socialist countryside, the necessary requirement of coordinating the urban and rural economic development, an important way to increase income of farmers, and an important guarantee for the development of modern agriculture as well Only if we cultivate and create thousands of new farmers, can we complete the task of constructing new countryside. In this thesis, I started from the understanding the of the new farmers, discussed the basic requirements and main features of them, which explained the needs of cultivating new farmers in building new countryside; Secondly, from the viewpoint of people-oriented concept, scientific development, harmonious society construction, I discussed the significance of cultivating new farmers in constructing new countryside; Moreover, I introduced the current situation of Chinese peasants' overall quality, and analyzed the main problems and defects of them; Finally, from the point of cultivating new farmers in construction of new countryside, I put forward corresponding solutions and ways to promote smooth construction of new socialist countryside.
