| County economy is an important and basic compartment of a national economy. If the county with fruitful grain production wants to get long-term healthy development, it has to develop its own characteristic county economy. That is to say that we must grasp the specific situation of the county, take the advantages of comparison and resources, make characteristic industry the core, nurture the backbone industry, develop industrial clusters, set up one village-one product mode, and try the best to get the most benefits. Considering the specific situation of our country, it is of both theoretical and practical significance to research the characteristic development of counties with traditional agricultural economy and those with high production of grain.This article made use of theories such as socialism with Chinese characteristics, industry economics, development economics, zones economics, and western economics, et al. Basing on the problems faced by Wenxian, a traditional agricultural county with high production of grains, the author pointed out that in order to improve the healthy economical development of Wenxian, it is necessary to develop the characteristic economy, and to nurture and enlarge the characteristic industries and backbone industries. The purpose is to provide a pattern for the economical development of those countries basing on agriculture, through the analysis of theories and practices.Basing on theoretical analysis, the author selected Wenxian, one county of Henan province, as the case of object; and then illustrated the ideas of selection and culture of characteristic industry. First, in order to clarify the options of characteristic industry, the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and treats, and the current situations of the five backbone industries of Wenxian were analyzed, on the basis of a consideration combining the economical, social, and natural characteristics. Second, considering the idea of developing characteristic industry, it was pointed out that a cultural industry characterized by Tai-ji-quan should be developed in Wenxian. Finally, the problems encountered during the development of Tai-ji-quan cultural industry were pointed out. In order to solve those problems, the author suggested that while reforming and promoting the five backbone industries, the specific cultural resource of Tai-ji-quan should be well utilized. While consummating the industrial development program, strong supports from the nation, province, and city should be pursued. The talent's construction of various types should be sped up. A cluster of cultural industries should be built up, which includes three major compartments, meaning seminars, cultural tours, and training of Tai-ji-quan. Multiple brands should be built up, such as tours of the holy-land of Tai-ji-quan, technical trainings, fitness and entertainments, equipments and supplies, athletic shows, and audio/videos, etc., so as to drive the fast development of the integral Tai-ji-quan cultural industry, and to make it a new backbone industry of Wenxian. |
