Studies On Problems Of Independent Innovation Of Manufacturing Industry In Liaoning

The manufacturing industry is one of the most important industries in Liaoning Old Industry Base, and its development puts important impact on other industries, especially on the second and the third. So the development of manufacturing industry also puts important impact on the whole Liaoning's economy. In more than 50 years form the foundation of the PRC to the beginning of this century, the manufacturing industry of Liaoning and the other two northeastern provinces made great contribution to China's economic construction. However, in the context of Reform and Open, just over 10 years form 1990's to the beginning of this century, Liaoning's manufacturing industry slowly fell behind; on the contrast, the manufacturing industry rapidly developed and became strong in the southeastern coastal areas such as Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Jiangsu. What are the reasons that made Liaoning's manufacturing industry fall behind?In this paper, the author makes analysis on the recent state and development history of Liaoning's manufacturing industry, and comes to that product aging and independent innovation lagging are the main reasons why Liaoning's manufacturing industry fell behind. And by further analysis with theories of Innovation Economics and New institutional Economics, the author points out that lacking of timely institutional changes is main problems of independent innovation of manufacturing industry in Liaoning, and then makes a comprehensive and deeply analysis on institutional problems and the fundamental reason for it, at last, gives some suggestions and countermeasures.The paper is divided into six chapters. Chapter One, Introduction. At first, the author introduces the purpose and significance of the topic; and then talks on the literature of the Old Industry Base's manufacturing industry, and independent innovation; at last points out Research Methods, the points of innovation and the logic road map of the paper. Chapter Two, Overview on General Theory of Independent Innovation. The author firstly outlines the concept of innovation, significance, characteristics, classification and Innovation System; and then outlines the theory of independent innovation mainly from the operating mechanism, evolution and mechanisms and main influent factors. Chapter Three, Analysis on Liaoning's Manufacturing of Independent Innovation of the Status and Problems. Firstly, the author simply introduces the current situation of Liaoning's manufacturing development; and then, makes specific analysis on Liaoning's manufacturing independent innovation. Chapter Four, Analysis on Institutional Problems of Independent Innovation Lagging Behind in Liaoning's Manufacturing Industry. The author makes analysis on problems that make independent innovation lag behind form micro and macro aspect. Chapter Five, Establishment and Perfection of Systems and Institutions to Promote Independent Innovation of Liaoning's Manufacturing Industry. On the base of Chapter Four, and learning from the advanced experience at home and abroad, the author brings forward countermeasures of the establishment and perfection of systems to promote independent innovation and Reform and Open, and points out the perfection of the culture and education systems in order to promote independent innovation by the basic factors such as culture and concept.
