| With the further development of reform and opening-up policy, the socialist market economics in china has come into being, China's economy have made considerable and stable progress. However, the relevant survey and study has shown that local protectionism and market segmentation which emerged in china's economic transition process has been the outstanding problems in china's economic development and it has been a serious impediment to achieve the goal which is to establish a unified market. As China's important economic sectors, Around Bohai Region play an important role in china's economic development. Deep research on local protectionism and market segmentation in Around Bohai Region is conducive to the establishment of the regional unified market, and then plays a positive role in promoting the process of establishing a unified national market. In this paper, we use theory and empirical analysis to do a tentative research on local protectionism and market segmentation in Around Bohai Region.Firstly, on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the research results about china's local protectionism and market segmentation from the domestic and international scholars, this paper gives definitions of the concept of this study, summaries and overviews of the theory of local protectionism and market segmentation, Analysis of the causes and effects of local protectionism and market segmentation. Then selecting the scope of Around Bohai Region to research, introducing the current situation of this region and measuring the degree of local protectionism and market segmentation in this region, leading to a quantitative analysis of its local protectionism and market segmentation of the current situation and trend, analyzing and determining the loss of this region because of local protectionism and market segmentation. Finally, according to analyze the obstacle to break the local protectionism and market segmentation, we give a proposal to break the local protectionism and market segmentation of this region and integrate the regional market. |
