As the continuous development of globalized market economy and the knowledge-based economy, competition among enterprises has become increasingly fierce. The enterprises in the near-white heat of competition, how to keep sustainable competitive advantage, and have a firm foothold in the market environment, we have to attach great importance to managers in the enterprise an important role. Management in the enterprise as a leader and communication and coordination role, developing business strategies for enterprise objectives, safety and production, marketing, supply timely and accurate, smooth logistics and staff responsible spirit, etc. The role of management is mainly depends on the quality of management. The quality of the level of management directly affects the production and operations, cash flow situation and the success of strategic development. Whether the management has the ability to adjust the quality required by the enterprise, is the most important determinant factor of the company's continual success.The production and operations of China's energy enterprises have its industry-specificity; their management and production were closely related to the national security, economic development and people's life. And because of the importance in the national economy, energy companies also have a monopoly and strategic place. For this particular industry, energy companies, what competency do their managers need to have? What are the specific factors that constitute it? This study is the solution to answer this question.In this thesis, on the based of domestic and foreign related academic study results of management competence, through the effective survey of three energy companies to establish the energy business management competency shape, and then through the face to face behavioral event interview research on management competency of ZR energy companies, adjustment, sort and amendments the Prototype management competency and final establish the energy company management competency which includes the following four dimensions :Leadership dimension: Planning capacity, problem-solving ability, decision- making ability and training subordinates;Interpersonal skills dimension: Communication skills, interpersonal skills and team-building; Personal qualities dimensions: Self-confidence, achievement orientation, personal influence and conceptual thinking;Administrative capacity dimension: Security management, daily project management capacity, professional expertise and technical transformation;Qualified management personnel and the quality of energy enterprises in the energy business in the practical application and the application of in-depth analysis of issues and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions...
