| Due to the development of housing allotment, society and economy, China's dwelling construction has made progress rapidly in the seventies and eighties last century. In this era, lots of multiple dwellings have been built. But these old residential buildings face the contradiction between dwelling size and user requirement. There are lots of troubles when the old residential buildings were pulling down and moving out, for example, the destruction of the urban culture line and settling down the resident who face the eviction. In recently years, China's low-cost housing system is improving day by day, the policy of the enhancement of low-cost housing system is published in rapid succession and the quantity demand of low-cost house grows in different cities each year. Because of the old residential buildings'geographical condition, dwelling space and residential area environment, there is feasibility of changing to low-cost houses. In addition, this solution also has benefits that it can be used to solve the problems in building new low-cost building that the construction sites are remote, public facilities are incomplete and employment is inconvenience. According to the reasons mentioned above, it is practical to renewal the old residential buildings for low-cost houses and the result is benefit for solving the problem of the low-incoming people's living demand and keeping old residential buildings'sustainable development.The thesis did some research based on Chongqing's old residential buildings. First, it investigates the development and construction of low-cost house and proves into the advantage of the new way of the low-cost house construction which is renewal the old residential buildings for low-cost houses, it also summaries the characteristics of the Chongqing's low-cost housing people and the dwelling space. Second, according to the field survey for old industrial residential building in Chongqing's urban distinct, it describes the current state and troubles of old residential lot and its dwelling space and provide some possible directions for the development of renewal the old residential buildings. Third, it proves into design methodology combined with the current state of old residential building based on the characteristics of residents in low-cost housings and included adding function space besides the whole building, transformation of dwelling space, transformation of residential public space, renewal the facade and related technical measures of transformation. Fourth, it discussed the strategy of renewal the old dwelling district's environment based on the activity characteristic of the low-incoming people include reorganization of old residential space, optimization of transportation, integration of landscape space and perfection of public facilities.Through the discussion about the renewal old residential building to low-cost house, the thesis provides the methods of urban old residential buildings'sustainable development, the new solution for the lack of source of low-cost house and tries best to make the urban harmonious development. |
