With the coming economic globalization and especially the rapid development of global sourcing, the market competition is getting intense and the enterprise management is becoming more important. Supply chain management currently is the main focus of the enterprise management. What the enterprise should do to keep their competition in this circumstance,is not only reduce the cost of production and improve the quality, but turn around to supply chain management. The enterprise should pay more attention to establish strategic business partner relationship and improve the efficiency of whole supply chain continually.In this paper , I study trends in global sourcing of automotive components under supply chain management. Analyse Dorman's market positioning, strategic objectives of its China supply chain and specific strategy. Research its China supply chain management strategy implementation and the obtained results. Discuss the risk management, exchange rate and raw material price variety issues on the China supply chain management operation, gives solutions. Recommendations also be given to Dorman on the development of its China supply chain management.
