Along with the coming age characterized by 3C(Customer,Competition,Change), the business environment has essentially changed, demands of customers constantly vary, technological innovations accelerate, production life cycles reduce, and market competition becomes more and more fierce. The efficiency of the working mode based on functional classification is not high, and often affects the rapid development of the enterprises, which makes business process reengineering an important role in promoting enterprise's competition.Firstly, this paper elaborates the implication, methods, and the steps to implement business process reengineering. Secondly, the methods using by business process reengineering and Petri theory are introduced. At last, combined with a named tabulation corporation's current situation, this paper applies BPR (Business Process Reengineering) theory to analyze and reengineer the corporation's current process, and develops an information system, which has also been put into use.In chapter 1, the background, source, purpose and meaning are introduced. Current situation and development of BPR theory is reviewed. In chapter 2, the implication, methods and technique skills of BRP are introduced. Principles of BRP, the four layers, types and implementation steps of BRP are summed up too. Some methods to model BRP are compared, and Petri Net is introduced. In chapter 3, BRP theory is applied to analyze the current process and organization of a named tabulation corporation. And the reengineered process is verified by Petri theory. In chapter 4, some related techniques using in the system are introduced, and the design and realization of some key modules in the system are also particularly presented. In chapter 5, the whole research work is summarized, and the future work need to be done has also been viewed.
