It is hardest for logistic enterprise to design and operate the system of staff performance appraisal. Performance appraisal of logistic enterprise not only includes the appraisal of staffs performance, but also includes the appraisal of staffs attitude and ability. In summary, the performance appraisal of logistic enterprise has the following four aspects:performance dimension, ability dimension, attitude dimension and personal quality. Performance appraisal of logistic enterprise aims at confirming staffs work achievement and improving staffs working method for increasing the work efficiency and operating benefit.This thesis consists of five parts. Firstly, based on the present development situation of logistic enterprise, this thesis puts forward the background and significance of research, the research thought, the main content, and research methods. Secondly, based on the theoretic summary of performance appraisal, this thesis fully and carefully analyzes the performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff and points out problems existing in carrying out the performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff. A system of performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff is designed to solve existed problems.the theoretic foundation of performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff is established. Thirdly, the present situation of carrying out performance appraisal of logistic enterprise is analyzed, and the following problems existing in the present performance appraisal of logistic enterprise are pointed out:the ambiguous purpose, the subject singleness, ambiguous principles, the unscientific appraisal plan, the formalization of the procedure, and no feedback about the performance appraisal result. This thesis analyses the cause of the above problems. Fourthly, by interviewing with experts, the weight of performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff is ensured, and a system of performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff is designed, and the basic thought of performance appraisal is produced. Main elements of performance appraisal of logistic enterprise staff are seriously studied and elaborately designed, including the explicit purpose of performance appraisal, the diverse appraisal subject, the clear appraisal principles and so on. The subject of performance appraisal adopts the dimension of 360 degree. Methods of KPI and AHP are adopted in the appraisal to design the weight of performance appraisal in detail. The result of performance appraisal is applied to the application of payment, the work adjustment, the development potential and so on. At last, The Quanzhou logistic enterprise and Zhongbei logistic enterprise are taken as specific examples to be empirically researched. The performance appraisal system and the index application are reasonably analyzed in the practical work and a conclusion is drawn.
