In recent years, the domestic economists and scholars interested in academic research of China's enterprise reform have focused on restructuring state-owned enterprises (SOEs). With state-owned enterprise reform step by step, more and more state-owned enterprises have entered the transition. In order to advance its reform process, ensure a smooth transition, it is necessary to adjust and improve salary structure and distributing methods, streamline distributing relationship, establishing scientific and reasonable compensation system to meet the needs of modern enterprise system.Considering electric power & design companies is typical of SOEs in the process of restructuring, full of quite distinct characteristics of SOEs., combining practical experience from the consulting projects of three this kind of restructuring enterprise, this paper selects electric power & design companies in SOEs as the research object, and studies the compensation system during the transformation. And redesigning this system is aim at changing the traditional concept of employees from restructuring enterprise, helping enterprise smoothly passing restructuring period, make enterprise's compensation system more accord with the modern enterprise system, the human resources management more standardized.On the basis of previous research results and practical experience of the author, this paper uses a combination of the theory and empirical research method and discusses redesigning compensation system of SOEs in the process of restructuring. Through literature retrieval, literature research methods, and compensation theory as the paper's theoretical basis and compensation reforming process of SOEs in China. Also using questionnaires, on-the-spot interviews, case studies and comparative research method, it further redesigns and optimizes compensation system of SOEs from electric power & design companies of restructuring state-owned enterprises, to evaluate its effectiveness. So the research ideas and methods have certain directive significance to improve the level of the types of enterprise compensation management.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, introduce the background and significance of this study, clear and definite the idea of this paper, define the related concepts and the scope of the study, while on the basis of reviewing research achievements and progress related to compensation system from the points of domestic and foreign scholars, it respectively expounds compensation system design theory from the perspective of economics, psychology, management;Secondly, complying with the trend need to ensure the smooth transition of compensation reform during this special period, based on thinking the design theory of compensation system in SOEs and understanding their development process, according to the feature and development of electric power & design companies, the present situation of their compensation system is analyzed and diagnosed to provide redesigning salary system of this type enterprise with the foundation and material;Thirdly, according to the theoretical research and practical experience, combining project cases, based on the characteristics of SOEs and electric power & design companies, redesigning their compensation system is further analyzed, putting forward the design thinking for compensation system based on job analysis and the evaluation of work position with layering, classifying system, dividing modules, and through tracking analyzing the project late data, the implementation and effectiveness of their compensation system are evaluated and summarized.
