Research On Implementation Evaluation Of City Master Plan In A Public-policy-based Perspective

Based on the former research, this paper sorts Implementation Evaluation of City Master Plan into three categories: Ideal Blueprint Method (IBM), Rational Plan Method (RPM) and Subjective Appraisal Method (SAM). By estimating the effect of Beijing City Master Plan (2004-2020) with PRM and SAM, advices on implementation of City Master Plan, as well as differences between methods, are presented. It is also concluded that both PRM and SAM should be sufficiently used to make comprehensive evaluation of city master plan, and to achieve public-police-based implementation evaluation pattern.
