With the era of knowledge economy coming and penetrating, the knowledge employees'especially knowledge management staff's value was confirmed step by step. The knowledge management staff has been became a key crowd who could build up and maintain core competitive advantage for an enterprise, but the research of motivate especially long term motivate toward knowledge management staff is seriously delayed in China. In particular, the incentive management of knowledge management staff based on Career life-cycle has none been considered yet.The author commerce from the content of knowledge management staff to analyze the status quo of motivation management, present problems and the cause of problems witch through using the knowledge of HR, Psychology and Organizational behavior etc Comprehensively. The author set up a management staff's demand mode based on Career life-cycle, which based on analyzing knowledge managers who are in different stage of career-life-cycle. Then according to using empirical methods of quantitative analysis do a questionnaire survey witch cover 513 persons comes from Sany Group, Merchants Bank, Shanghai Electric Group, Fenghuo Group, JeyFeng Business Consulting Company and Ernst & Young to verify and correct the model. In the same time, the author propose a series management measure about motivating management staff who are in different stage of career-life-cycle and the basement of the measures.This thesis is divided into six main parts, The first part introduced the background of the study and the related research at home and abroad,clarifying the purpose of the study subjects, significance and research methods of this study; The second part define the related concept of knowledge management staff and analyzed the current situation of incentive management of knowledge management staff, the problem of the incentive management and the reason of the problem existed; The third part building a model of knowledge management staff's demand witch base on career life-cycle, which on the base of relevant theory in management; The fourth part using a questionnaire survey through a random sample, to investigate the specificity of different stage's knowledge management staff's demand and analyzing the Variation of demand so to modify and correct the demand model; The fifth part proposing a series motivational techniques that based on the modified demand model and bringing up a support system to ensure the effective of the motivational techniques; The sixth part of that is the conclusion of the whole text and research prospects. The whole passage promotes the research on incentive management of knowledge management staff based on career life-cycle to a higher level.In this thesis, the innovation lies in the fact that it explained knowledge management staff's demand level will up and down through all the career-life-cycle, According to witch, educing a model of knowledge management staff's demand witch based on career life-cycle; in the same time, designing a management project aimed to incentive the knowledge management staff in the long term witch through the process of person's career-life-cycle.
