| As an important source of core competence of enterprise employee training has become a more and more significant business operation. Recent years, many enterprises in China have introduced various advanced training methods and mentoring program is one of them. Mentoring program is a kind of training and human resource development method which can help new employees or reassign employees to raise their work ability, meet the requirement of work and achieve career development by building up support relationship with experienced managers or technical experts.Using the methods of literature research, induction and deduction this paper systematically analyzed the research achievement domestic and foreign and summed up the concept, type, function and main influence factor of mentoring program. This paper also summarized the main purpose, implementation process and problems of mentoring program in Chinese enterprise. Based on the above research this paper proposed solutions for specific issues. First of all, to ensure the effect of mentoring program enterprises in China must expand the using range of mentoring program. Secondly, enterprises should strengthen the publicity of mentoring program, stimulate the enthusiasm of employees, stabilize the relationship of mentors and employees and assess mentors regularly in order that the mentors can play a right role in the process of training. Thirdly, the accuracy of effect assessment can be improved by using the Kirkpatrick model and Fuzzy Mathematics model. Finally, enterprises should strengthen guidance and management of the informal organization to avoid the adverse effect of it.It is hoped that this paper might contribute to the development of mentoring program in Chinese enterprises and help to improve the practical work. |
