| With the development of globalization, the regional economic cooperation has strengthened.Under this circumstances,the NE economic cooperation has made certain development, and shows the new characteristics and trends。On the basis of analyzing the motives of taking part in the regional cooperation and exploring the trend of cooperation, the paper opposes the strategic goals and the formation of cooperation. The second part is discussed the basis of the regional cooperation. which is from three angles. The first one is the development of the theory of the regional cooperation. The second is the cause the regional cooperation. The third is the system and reaction of the regional cooperation. The third part discusses the motives why China takes part in the northeast Asia regional cooperation, As the openness of market, the interdependence is strengthening, the economic cooperation laid the foundation for the political cooperation.Meanwhile, the northeast area can take the advantage of this chance, realizing the refreshment. The fourth part discusses the present situation and the trend of economic cooperation in northeast Asia. Northeast Asia by its unique geographical and economic advantages complementary, establish a cross-border type sub—regional economic zone can be fully realized. The use of the advantages of convenient, adjacent to the conditions and take the lead in all kinds of cooperation in northeast Asia, for the regional economic cooperation throws a first step. The fifth part discusses the strategic choice which China should take in the northeast Asia regional cooperation.
