Headquarters Economy is now playing an important role in the development strategy of the China Urban Economy. What we can see from the economy development at present is that the strategy of developing Headquarters Economy has been put forward by many cities, however, based on the features of Headquarters Economy and its development requirements,a few of them turned out to be a great success while considering their own characteristics both scientifically and rationally. Being one of the most important central cities positioned by our country,how will Guangzhou develop into a national central city by improving its competitiveness by developing its Headquarters Economy,that's our key concern. This paper will analyze the present development situation of Guangzhou Headquarters Economy both theoretically and practically, and will put forward further measures to develop Guangzhou Headquarters Economy.
