Study On The Headquarters Economy In China

With the rapid development and application of information and network technology and economic globalization, the economic circumstances have been changed and the organization structures in space have such an change that headquarters and industry have been separated, many headquarters collect in central cities and industry and manufacture body collect in some other regions. There are some positive consequences for the local region that collected many headquarters and therefore many cities take up to develop headquarters economy. Based upon these backgrounds, this thesis, combining the theory of headquarters economy and other correlative theories, discusses how to develop headquarters economy in a city or a region, and give some advice to the government.This paper aims at summing up the research achievements of headquarters economy, and analyzing and researching development strategy of headquarters economy based on the problems of the headquarters economy in China. Therefore, the research on headquarters economy has important academic value and practical significance.The paper firstly sums up the research achievements of headquarters economy, and then pays more attention on the relationship between the headquarters economy theory with other correlative theory. The main discussions of this thesis reside in chapter three four and five. In chapter three, this thesis firstly analyzes the positive influence of headquarters on the local region from economy and society factors. In chapter four, based upon analysis of development features, this thesis, combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, discusses deeply the present situation in some typical cities, and then pay more attention on the discussions of those existing problems of developing headquarters economy in our country.Finally, based on the qualitative analysis, the thesis brings up a series of advices and strategies for headquarters economy. There are six aspects:deepen cognition to headquarters economy theory; transforming the government function, and making clear the major role of government in the development of headquarters economy; providing strong support for headquarters economy by developing modern service industry; establish regional innovation system and regional cultural system; push on the development for the headquarters economy to access to the global value chain.
