The international financial crisis in 2008 has been decreasing largely the profit of A Corp. It is important for A Corp. to make proper strategy to recover from crisis quickly, occupy the steel trading market of and improve its core competence.In this paper, we start with the introduction of steel industry and steel trading industry's conditions and development trend. And then we state the business conditions of A Corp.The second part analyzes the internal and external circumstances of A Corp. by using the SOWT matrix, and find out the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat to A Corp. Based on the above analysis, we propose a steel business strategy for A Corp. by applying the strategy management theory, crisis management theory, and steel trading theory.The last part is about the carrying out of the strategy. The steel business strategy of A Corp. should be executed by professional integration and industry chain extending. We also analyze the measures, administration and progress of the execution of the strategy. It also analyzes the input and output of the strategy.In conclusion, the strategy of the steel business of A Corp under financial crisis is: integrating the business and the extending the industry chain, that is, to integrate the business of its subsidiary companies, extend the industry chain, and find out some breakthroughs and new land of the business.
