Driven by the factors such as globalized economy, the revolution in informationtechnology and individuation of customers’ demand, global manufacturing is movingfrom "production-oriented manufacturing "to" service manufacturing". As one of theimportant pillar industries, the business of iron and steel enterprises in China associatesmultiple industries such as manufacturing, trade, logistics, processing, distribution, and ithas a large volume of product information and a wide range of limitless diversity. Underthe competitive pressure of price convergence and product homogeneity, the iron andsteel enterprises are not facing the dispute of simple product and technical any more, butthe in-depth services that focused on the customer and penetrated the steel industry chain.In order to improve the efficiency of business collaboration and competitive advantage ofservice in steel industry chain, around the product order fulfillment process and from theperspective of the value added chain of the steel industry, the collaborative operationmode of service-oriented customer demand of the system is researched, especially thedepth theoretical research related to business collaboration models and servicemorphology between the leading steel manufacturing companies and end strategic usersare the hot and difficult spots in the theory exploration and practice of the mode ofoperation in the current industry chain and collaborative system. Based on this, thetheoretical system of steel industry chain collaborative product service systems is builtand studied from the methods of Extenics in system services, the mechanism of profitdistribution between service units and the business practice of the system service.The main research contents include:1. Research on the SIC-PCSS theoretical system of servicePut forward the theoretical system of steel industry chain collaborative productservice systems, including system service application mode, the system constitutingtheory and the steel industry chain collaboration service system information platformbased on grid which system service features and content are described from the definitionof the system, the system multi-dimensional service application model and theoreticalframework of the system; The theory of system services constituted elements suggeststhat the service of steel industry chain system is constituted by the model oforganizational structure, product service and the value constitution and the relationshipbetween service-composed elements and basic elements is deeply described. Finally, thesteel chain service system based on manufacturing grid, its architecture and the processof product resources service modeling, packaging and instantiation is put forward.2. Research on the SIC-PCSS extension service model systemBased on the large existence of relationship-chain in the industry chain, combined with the basic theory of Extenics and analysis of dynamic matter-element, the theory ofextension chain is put forward, including the theory of chain meta-model and the chainmatter element system model. Combined with the steel industry chain products andservices features, a comprehensive system of steel industry chain service model, steelindustry chain generalized matter-element system model, is established, including thesteel industry chain generalized primitive model, steel industry chain matter-elementsystem model, the steel industry chain relationship-chain of objects system model, thematter-element model in steel industry chain service system, the extension of each modelof the steel industry chain and the generalized nature of the relationship between themodel, to provide intelligent service for further developing the digital virtualizationindustry chain and innovative products and service to build a solid underlying formextension model basis. Combined with the model system, the extension strategy methodof solving complicated contradictions in steel industry chain is proposed.3. Research on the SIC-PCSS service mechanism of profit distribution andcoordinationThe steel industry chain unit profit model is based on basically service types profitanalysis. The mechanism of profit distribution of2level structural chains ofsupply-demand and master-slave is deeply researched. Finally, the mechanism of benefitdistribution of the multi-level structural chain of the steel industry chain is deeply studied,and for strategic users, the solving process of their benefit distribution of the multi-levelstructural chain is elaborated in detail.4. Research on the SIC-PCSS model of collaborative business application serviceFrom the perspective of product orders,firstly according to the theory of systemelements of SIC-PCSS, the business logic of products and service in Baosteel strategicautomotive customer collaborative service chain is put in order,then the model ofcorresponding organizational structure of products and service related to the businesscollaboration is built, and the framework for the platform of collaborative businessmanagement could be established. Finally, the effect of application and implementationof the case presented confirms the correctness of the theory of steel industry chaincollaborative product service system.
