Research On Ecological Economy Of Energy Saving And Emission Reduction In Steel And Iron Industry

Steel and iron industry is one of the key energy-consuming industries in our country with large resource consumption and heavy environmental pollution. The energy saving and emission reduction of steel and iron industry will exert significant influence on the whole industrial circle. To realize sustainable and healthy development in the future, the steel and iron industry must adopt the mode of recycling economy and take the road of ecological development with low resource consumption and low environmental pollution.Guided by the theory of circular economy and aiming at the coordinated development of economy and environmental protection, this paper adopts comparative analysis and synthesis analysis to conduct systematic study on current situation of energy-saving and emission reduction, existing problem and measures adopted in steel and iron industry in our country practically. Meanwhile, this paper takes steel and iron industry of Shandong province as an example to conduct deepened study on the energy saving and emission reduction and analyze the achievements and experience of energy saving and emission reduction of steel and iron industry of Shandong province.This paper studies the process and methods of circular economy of steel and iron industries in developed countries, summarizes the experience of energy saving and emission reduction of steel and iron industries in developed countries and defines the existing difference of energy saving and emission reduction in steel and iron industry between our country and developed countries. Through the analysis, the paper points out that the difference is mainly caused by the following factors:the coal-dominated energy structure, the low industrial concentration degree of steel and iron industry, backward equipment and low popularization rate of energy saving technology. It is put forward that the steel and iron industry in our country must strictly control expansion of production capacity of steel and iron industry, enhance the internal forces of enterprise development based on technological advancement, promote cleaner production standard, eliminate backward production capacity so as to energy saving and emission reduction.The paper also analyzes the problems of energy saving and emission reduction as well as new development opportunities facing the steel and iron industry of Shandong province under current new international situation, puts forward new strategies and measures for the ecological development of energy saving and emission reduction in steel and iron industry of Shandong province:earnestly implement the policy measures of industrial restructuring and revitalization plan for steel and iron industry of our country; promote technological transformation and innovation of enterprises; speed up the elimination of backward industry through merger and reorganization; enhance the reclamation efforts of scrap steel; increase the support of finance and taxation policy, etc. The analysis displays innovation and has practical guiding significance.
