Research On Development Of Peanuts Industry And Its Countermeasures In Guangdong Province

The peanut is one of the five main oil crops in the world. It will be meaningful to make full use of rich peanut resources in our country, greatly develop processing industry to raise scientific and technology content as well as additional value of peanut product, exploit series products. Developing peanut industry will not only satisfy the nutrition and health need of people, but also be good for the adjustment of agricultural industry construction. More importantly, it can be an effective measure to improve the international competitive ability of our agricultural product and increasing peasant's income. When it comes to the peanut industry in Guangdong, there are many problems that generally drag it behind other advantageous provinces in China presently. The main problems are on the aspects of technology, production and policy, including relative law total yield, improper application of advantageous technologies, weak sense of food safety, relative disadvantageous equipments, weak livingness of processing enterprises, faultiness of professional markets, unperfected marketing organization and commissioners and so on. This thesis illustrated the importance of peanut industry on the development of agricultural economic as well as the existing problems on the production and processing, breeding, disease and pest control, marketing, industrial construction that inhibiting the development of peanut industry in Guangdong. Some strategies on cultivar exploiting, special use of excellent cultivars, region distribution programming, processing technology improvement, perfecting markets and food health and safety technology were proposed aiming to provide theoretical and practical reference for the development of peanut industry in Guangdong province.In this study, focused interviews with experts and peanut visual point of view of employees, the use of literature review, interviews, surveys, a comprehensive analysis of the peanut industry in Guangdong Province of the advantages and problems, as well as the development of Guangdong Province in the peanut industry to propose a solution. This thesis includes five chapters. The first chapter is an exordium on the background, purpose and significance of the research. In this chapter, we firstly discussed the clues, methods and innovative points of the research, then introduced the research trends of peanut industry in the world, at last illustrated the importance of peanut industry on the development of agricultural economy. The second chapter is about the agriculture industrialization theory and the development of peanut industry. The general situation of agriculture industrilization theory and research of peanut industry were firstly introduced. Then the thesis on the present situation of Guangdong peanut industry were analyzed concretely.The third chapter is the interview on the development status of peanut industry on the aspects of research, planting, processing and marketing. The fourth chapter is the key of this paper which proposed countermeasures and suggestions on peanut industry development in Guangdong province base on the existing problem. The countermeasures and suggestions are aiming to connect different periods of peanut production. The fifth chapter is the conclusions and prospects. It mainly summarized the roles of natural resource, location of markets, total production, deep processing, standardized production and macro-control of the government on the development of peanut industry. Also, the deficiency of this thesis and the problems need to be fatherly studied are put forward in this chapter.
