Research On Project Logistics Channel Selection

With the process acceleration of the global economic integration, it has been wider and more frequent for the domestic and foreign enterprises to communicate and trade in the fields of technology, equipment, and product; it has caused more and more large-scale engineering projects like petrochemical, metallurgical, power projects implemented at home and abroad. And this has led to the frequency of the communication in the fields of equipments, materials and products between domestic and international; this has also provided a broad market for the logistics service suppliers.However, the projects implementation demands the construction plan being strictly controlled. Once the delay occurred, it will bring great loss. So the material supply supporting shows extreme importance. It can insure the construction date with no delay only by the strict control for material supply which implements effectively, timely, orderly. According to the requirements, this paper will mainly discuss points of view from the following several aspects.First, the background and significance of the topic be expounded, and the research status of the project logistic be analyzed and generalized; Second, the demand characteristics of transportation service of project logistic be analyzed with the consideration of the project characteristics, the cargo characteristics and the cargo variety; third, the influence factors of transportation path selection be discussed based on the requirements of the transportation time, cost, safety and reliability of the project logistic; fourthly, the evaluation index system of transportation operations be established, and the evaluation method of each mode of transportation be introduced; fifthly, a utility theory be led to on the basis of the previous chapter, and one path selection model of project logistics be established finally. In the end of the paper, the model be verified by introducing an actual case. And it provides the theory basis for the project logistic service. It has practical significance either in theory or in practice.
