Study On The Tramp Routing And Scheduling With Incompatible Cargo Of Flexible Quantity

The ship operational efficiencies and economic benefits transport, safety and quality are directly related to the quality of the scheduling work, impact the survival, competition and development of the ship corporation. On the other hand, as the world's fleet freight volume growth, there is more competitive in shipping industry. Especially under the influence of the financial crisis, the overcapacity situation gradually apparition, and the global maritime trade and maritime market are obviously weaken, shipping enterprises are in deep water. Against this background, how to effectively configure marine resources, scientificly schedule ship became the focus of the shipping industry. In this paper, we integrate incompatible cargo with the flexible cargo sizes, establishe a short-term scheduling model of tramp. Soluting the transportion scheduling problems which is under the incompatible cargo and flexible cargo sizes, with multiple routes, kinds of goods and ships. Overcoming the difficulties which only depending on the operator personal experience to make a decision in the complex transportation scheduling system.Based on careful analysis of the research in and abroad, this paper first expounds the theorys of tramp schedule, and analyses the reasons of avoidance of mixed loading for cargos and the requirements of prestowage. Secondly, the model of tramp schedule or cargo with flexible size and avoidance of mixed loading is established from the view of improvement of the original model with certain size, and then the improved model is linearized in order to make it easy to figure out. Finally, we take S company who makes internal bulk and general cargo business for example, and get the results of the optimization on conditions that S company meets the demands of the appointed task..The result shows the model mentioned proves the applicability to the problem of tramp schedule for the cargo with flexible size and avoidance of mixed loading, which also plays great role in guiding work for shipping companies.
