Abstract/Summary:
(In China, the small size of the growing grapes and out-dated planting technology make land productivity of the grapes low and the quality of grapes not meet the needs of market.) With the development of the economy and the improvement of people's lives, the demand for high-quality grapes is growing rapidly and the trend of commercialized growing grapes is also being strengthened day after day. They, on the one hand, show that it is urgent to improve the productivity and quality of grapes; on the other hand, they reflect that it is necessary to establish the extension and service system of the effective grapes production technology and enhance the rural households'large-scale and professional production. (Based on the in-depth investigation and analiysis on the grape growers in Huaibei, Anhui province, the paper mainly researches on the influencing factors of grape growers'preference in choosing the farming technique.) It has a practical significance to promote the grape industry large-scale, scientific, marketization and industrialization in Huaibei.Based on the field investigation data from 300 peasant households in 23 villages and 3 grape-growing regions in Huaibei city, we finally collected 266 valid questionnaires in the study. Firstly, the paper makes an in-depth investigation on the grape growers'social characters, family economics characters, institutional factor, the market demand and so on. Secondly, we do descriptive sequencing analysis on the influencing factors of grape growers'preference in choosing the farming technique. And then, we make the Multiple Logistic Model and use spss16.0 to estimate parameter toward the affecting factors of grape growers'preference in choosing the farming technique. The results indicate that the farming techniques that grape growers'mightiest preference in choosing are new varieties, new agricultural mechanical technology, followed by the preference of the fresh-keeping technique and the processing technique. Major factors influencing grape growers'preference in choosing the farming techniques are as follows:growers'social characters, family economic characters, sizes of farmland, labor resources, agricultural land transaction system, the rural financial system, the market demand, the proportion of non-agricultural labor forces, the grapes planting professional level, the technical guidance and training, the farmers'technical associations and so on. Of which the sizes of farmland, agricultural land transaction system and the market demand have the largest influence, and they are all significant statistically. Per capita income of grape growers is insignificant in the model, and is negative correlation to the techniques of new varieties and the fresh-keeping, which should attract attention from the relevant government.Different farmland and agricultural labor force induce grape grower choose different new technique. The farmers'technical associations and the technical guidance or training have grate influence on grape growers'preference in choosing the farming techniques, which raise growers to plant grape enthusiasm. Among variables of growers'social characters, education is very important but other factors have not played an obvious role. Research results also indicate that the current rural financial system is a problem demanding prompt solution. On the basis of the relative results and the actual situation, we put forward the relative policy recommendations:continue to improve the land circulative system and land utilization efficiency; continue to increase support for rural education and strengthen growers'education agricultural technical guidance and training; continue to encourage, support and promote the development of the farmers'technical associations and give full play to the professional and characteristic function of the basic farmers' technical associations; continue to encourage and support the development of the agricultural industry in deep processing, promote the transfer of rural labor force locally nearby and increase the income of farmers; continue to improve the modern rural finance system, solve the problem of Shortage of The development rural financial capital, promote equalization of the financial and credit in town and country.
