China Postal Saving bank established on March 20th 2005 in Beijing and Shanghai Branch of China Postal Saving Bank establish on Jan 18th 2007 in Shanghai.Although the capital of Postal Saving Bank is powerful, the macro economic environment change rapidly with the establishment of China Postal Saving Bank. Three investing Bank out of five in America had gone into bankruptcy which are Berilsten ,Merill, Rayman Brothers for the adverse impact of global economic depression from the beginning of 2008. Meanwhile, Morgan Stantely and Goldsen also change into National Merchant Bank from former investment bank. China invest Bank will compete with the foreign capitals bank on the fair ,reciprocity basis when the time comes. The China Postal Saving bank are facing a fiercely and challengeable market and the only way is to enhance the competitiveness of the bank, identify the market position and develop the service quickly.The innovation of Postal shows the determination of government and we can see the government look highly on the development of Postal Saving bank. The loss of postal business is made up for by the profit of Saving business which limit the development of Postal Saving business. In the view of global, the scale of saving of China Postal Saving is listed behind the major four state owned merchant bank and who has the biggest distribution net in rural area. In the view of city, Shanghai Branch Postal Saving bank of China are met with the problem that how to compete with other merchant bank in Shanghai. The main purpose of this dissertation is to study the competitiveness power of Shanghai branch China Postal Saving bank and make some suggestion of how to enhance this power.The first part is the introduction of the dissertation, purpose and technical method. The second part introduce the definition of Competitiveness power of Bank and describe the condition of research overseas. The third part is to discuss the necessary of establishment of China Postal Saving bank and the financial environment in Shanghai. The fourth part is to combine the theory with the reality to make the research of Shanghai Branch Postal Saving Bank in the perspective of quantitative and qualitative.
