Research On The Action Of Industrial Park On Regional Economic Development In The Less Developed Regions

It clearly appears that the industrial park is an effective form and an important carrier for many countries and regions to develop their modern industries and high technology industries. The industrial park plays one of the important roles in speeding up the underdeveloped region's urbanization and industrialization.it is vital for underdeveloped region to shake off poverty and back wardness and carry out economic take-off. In the course of the nation's acceleration in its information-driven industrialization, the industrial park will produce positive effects on regional economic development through economies of scale and agglomeration economies that are realized by the agglomeration of industries in space and their interactions. Under such background,it is very important,both theoretically and practically,to make researches into the action of the industrial park on regional economic development. combining domestic and abroad relevant experience of fostering and developing industryThis paper based on a typical undeveloped region-- Dingxi City of Gansu Province, by means of quantitative indicator and GIS technology measuring the relevance between the industrial park and regional economic development, focuses on the real actions of the industrial park on regional economic development. Finally, a number of recommendations and strategies about future development of the were industrial park made.It reaches in the end the following three conclusions: (1)the industrial park has an important role in promoting not only regional economic development,but also relevant industries and function,according promoting culture,education,entertainment,repast and other Facilities. (2)The model of grey slope incidence was applied to analyze the relation of the industrial park and t economy increase in Dingxi city .it can be concluded the the industrial park would make a great contribution to regional economic development. (3) From an analysis of acting process,the thesis draws another conclusion that there are four factors of the industrial park that are positively influential in regional economic development,namely,the growth of the the strengthening of the industrial ties, the completion and perfection of the infrastructure, the enhancement of the brand effect and he growth of the entrepreneurs.(4) The development of The industrial park in undeveloped region should rely on regional resources and advantage industry,take the development model in special economical zones.
