The oil-gas exploration project is the most complex operational activity in the oil industry, and it contains the most uncertain elements. The uncertainties in exploration decide the importance of oil-gas exploration project management in the entire exploration. At present, the ratio of reserves and year-output of Shengli Oilfield is low, about 12 years recent years, is far lower than the world average level 46 year. The additional proved recoverable reserves manage to be equal to the output of the year with difficult, the oil production "is unable to make ends meet", and "the deficit" of produced reserves have arisen. If it develops, the exploration will possibly become restricts to the Shengli Oilfield sustainable development. This article takes oil-gas exploration project management as the object, takes the research of oil-gas exploration project management correlation theories as the foundation, begins with the application of oil-gas exploration project management theory in the oil field enterprise, summarizes questions by analying the realistic situation of Shengli Oilfield company's oil-gas exploration project management with quality synthetic evaluation. Finally, design the frame by using the scientific project management theory from three aspects: life cycle, operation process, management essential, and proposes the safeguard mechanism of this frame. Therefore, it has realistic significance to increase the research of exploration project management, to strength the management level of China Petrochemical Corporation and its sub branch, to enhance the economic efficiency of exploration.
