Community participation in the west developed area eco-tourism development is take the community inhabitants as the participation main body, through the way of participating traveling plan, participating economic assignment, participating in education training, for the goal of achieving the eco-tourism and the west developed local community sustainable development This article studied on the community participation situation in the west developed area eco-tourism development, through researching limiting to the low level of the community participation carried on in the west developed area eco-tourism development; afterwards it utilized benefit main body theoretical analysis its reason, which mainly lies in the community inhabitant participating in traveling plan, which decision-making to be insufficient and formulation not taking the community as one of beneficial main bodies; and then it inspected aspecting influence factors in the west developed area eco-tourism development community participating in the economical, cultural and the system as well as the west developed area eco-tourism development community participation to the west developed local community economical effection, environment influence, in which to summarize the characteristic of the west area eco-tourism community participation, including the community main body,the community participating development phase and the community participation level. Above all it suggested that the developed area eco-tourism community participation must follow the principles of independently, fairly and the opportunity provided increased; and five contents have been set up to promote community participating such as the establishment community participation in the guidance mechanism, the policy-making consultation mechanism, the benefit safeguard mechanism, the monitoring mechanism, the training education mechanism and so on, and then other three meatures to community participation formed.
