Research On The Development Of High Technology Industry In JiLin Province

Recent years, with the gradual improvement of socialist market economy and the increasing reinforcement of the fundamental role of market allocation of resources, the operation model of traditional economy which was oriented to governmental mandatory planning has undergone fundamental changes. In face of the network and information of new economy and the impact of the tidal wave of globalization, how to make the practical regional policy so as to further bring the comparative advantages of different regions into full play and adjust the structure of geographical division of labor has become an important issue for our government to take into great consideration. The breakout of a number of technological revolutions has brought along the innovation and advancement of science and technology. High technology is playing an increasingly important role in propelling the economy forward. High technology industry is thriving, which is gradually transforming and replacing the traditional industries with its strong superiority. As a result, traditional industries have been under serious attack during this period. Ever since reform and opening-up, our country has attached great importance to science and technology, actively developed our new technologies and made every effort to explore the road to the industrialization of the new and high technology in order to boost our economy.This article first starts from the basic definition of"regional economy"and"high technology industry", studies the relevant theories of the development of regional economy and the industrialization of high technology and summarizes the models and ways suitable for the development of our regional economy and the industrialization of high technology.In addition, it analyses the current situation of our regional economy and the developing trends of high technology industry at home and abroad. It also discusses about the role of the industrialization of high technology in our country's economic development and the facilitation of our economy through the export of the high technology products.On the basis of above mentioned , it mainly analyses current situation of high technology industry in Jilin province and the contribution to the economic development and it makes a study of the problems existing in the high technology industry in Jilin province.Last but not the least, this article makes some corresponding suggestions to the problems existing in the industrialization of the high technology industry in Jilin province. The first is the development strategy of differentiation which makes corresponding preferential and supportive policies according to different regions and industries. The Second is the strategy of government's macro adjustment and control. It means contributing to the development of the high technology industry through the means of government's macro adjustment and control.
