The Competence-based evaluation system is an evaluation way to appraise the competent talents. In this system, according to the specific requirement of the different positions, candidates will be tested in a special evaluating standard and means and in the form of written paper and interview, whose items are selected from the special question banks, to examine their competence.In the use of the competence theory and the competence-based evaluation theory, combined with a detailed case of a competence model in a company, this thesis will discuss a new way which is different from the traditional evaluation methods, to help strengthen the application of competence.First, the paper expounds the research background, the current research achievements domestic and abroad, the main contents of researches and the relevant theoretical framework. On the basis of the conclusion of a series of researches, this paper will have a deepened analysis on the design of the competence-based evaluation, and further propose the principle, the application scope and the shortcomings of this evaluation system. Next, based on the research, it will analyze the case of the competence-based evaluation system of customer managers in GD ltd, Co.of China Mobile. In the end, there comes a conclusion, in the hope of achieving a reference value for other competence-based evaluation systems.
