Study On The Economic Development Of YouXian County Under The "Two-oriented Society" Background

Economic development on the county level is crucial to the sound development of the national economy.In 2007,the urban agglomeration of Changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan is approved as a national resource-saving and environment-friendly pilot reforming zone,which brings both challenges and opportunities to the construction of this urban agglomeration.Youxian,as an important component of Zhuzhou two-oriented social harmonious development area,faces up the important task how to develop the county's economy effectively.It is also a significant subject in the regional economic development research.This paper is to study the issues of Youxian county's economic development under the "two-oriented Society" background.Firstly,literatures concerning regional economic developmemt is reviewed and mathematical statistics and comparative analysis methods are used to give an overall analysis of the county's economic growth status in the aspects of the main economic development indicators,the economic development stage and a horizontal comparison among top 10 economies on the county level,from which weakness and some constraints are also analyzed.And then the implications of "two-oriented society" and its relationship with Youxian county's economic development are analyzed. To construct the "two-oriented society" is an inevitable choice of its economic development,a necessary requirement for Youxian county's economic development and sustainable development,an integral part of the construction of changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan urban agglomeration,an essential precocondition for the advancement of the new industrialization and urbanization.Meanwhile the fuzzy mathematics method is used to make an assessment on the status of Youxian county's "two-oriented society" construction.The results show that the current construction situation of Youxian county is not satisfying and an further development is needed.Finally,integrated into the "two-oriented society" construction requirements,the policy of Youxian county's economic structure optimization is discussed.Mian ideas are listed below:popping up industry advantages to upgrade industry structure,optimizing and adjusting agricultural structure to accelerate the development of agricultural industrialization,optimizing and adjusting industrial structure to promote new industrialization,integrating resources to promote the ecological tourism development,optimizing regional spatial structure to advance new urbanization development and docking changzhutan and zhuzhou city to undertake the coastal industrial transfer actively. Additionally,some countermeasures are put forward as a reference for Youxian county's "two-oriented Society" construction.
