With the emerging of the knowledge economy,tenlents are becoming the core of enterprises' competitive ability,correspondingly,the research on the relationship between performance and people's internal quality factors,including knowledge,behavior,trait, incentive,etc.,is deepened increasingly.At the same time,HRM based on competency has also become the focus of the field of practice and theory.As a fundamental part of HRM, the employment management on the base of competency has been paid more and more attention by scholars and practitioners.This paper chooses recruiters as a study subject,on the base of reviewing previous researching materials and sufficient practical investigation,comparing the advantages and disadvantages of competency researches both in home and abroad,analyzing the job advertisements of recruiters in Chinese private companies,and considering the local conditions in Nantong.It selects text analytic method and questionnaire survey method to start working in order to find out the competency structure of recruiters in Nantong private companies.Taking the competency with seven dimensions defined by Spencer as a theoretic foundation,the research obtains the recruiters' competency model in Nantong private companies on the basis of factor analysis and reliability and validity test of the data from informal and formal questionnaires,and with the obvious difference in competency between high-level recruiters and rniddle-level recruiters proved by the Mann-Whitney U Test.I hope that it is helpful for the private companies in Nantong to employ high-performance recruiters and to analyze the competency of the other module of HRM by using this model.
