The researches on self-leadership(SL) have being lasting for nearly 30 years abroad,but it is still at the very beginning stage in the domestic.In this paper,I chose the employees in Chinese enterprises,and used questionnaire methods to explore SL for the first step of researeh in Chinese cultural background.In this research,self-leadership refers to"the self-influence process to acomplish work/study goal through self-direction and self-motivation necessary to make use of such strategies as behavior-focused, constructive thought pattern,natural reward,emotion regulation."In this research,through reviewing to the literatures on self-leadership,the author first explains what the problem it is in the present studies of self-leadership,which consisted of disunity on concept,measures and so on.And then,put forward the motivation,objective and the research design.Secondly,basing on the theories and methods about Statistics and Psychological measurement,the research confirmed the seven factors model of self-leadership in Chinese cultural background(self-reward,emotion regulation,mental imagery,task natural reward,self-goal setting,self-talk,self-punishment) and formed an Chinese Self-leadership questionnaire with steady structure.Thirdly,by applying the researching structural questionnaire and the Hierarchical multiple regression technique,we analyzed if self-efficacy,job satisfaction can be the mediator between self-leadership and job performance.The result of research is that self-efficacy can be partial mediator between self-leadership and job performance.Job satisfaction can not be the mediator but moderator between self-leadership and job performance.Finally,by applying multivariate analysis of variance we discussed the influence of demography to each dimension in self-leadership.The result of research is that if considering gender,marriage,age,there are obvious influences to each dimension in self-leadership.
