With the rapid development of campus football in the whole country,football teaching has become an important part of college physical education,but also an important part of campus football.Under the background of the new education reform,the quality of teaching courses has been put forward in various directions.The small-group teaching mode is a new teaching mode under the development of modern education,which has significant effects on cultivating students' abilities of independent learning,communication and cooperation,social adaptation and thinking innovation.In this paper,according to the physical and mental characteristics of college students and the rules of football teaching,the small group teaching mode is applied to college football teaching,and the reasonable operation paradigm of small group teaching mode in college football teaching is discussed,in order to contribute to the development of college football teaching.In this paper,the application of small group teaching mode in college football teaching as the research object,to Wuhan software engineering vocational college football elective course two classes as experimental object,through the literature material law,questionnaire survey method,interview method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method of small group teaching mode in teaching content and application mode of the football teaching in colleges and universities to comb.Through the teaching experiment,the experimental group and the control group were tested on physical fitness,football technical level,football interest degree and other indicators,using Excel and SPSS software for analysis.The results of this study are as follows :(1)after the experiment,compared with before the experiment,the physical fitness of the two groups in standing long jump has been improved.After the experiment,the physical fitness of the experimental group and the control group has significant differences in lung capacity,50 m running and 1000 m running(p<0.05).(2)After the experiment,compared with before the experiment,both groups generally improved in football skill level;There was no significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of bouncing the ball,around the stick and kicking the target(P >0.05).(3)There was no improvement in football interest after the control group compared with before the experiment;After the experimental group compared with before the experiment football interest degree greatly improved;After the experiment,there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in football interest degree in football attention,negative interest in football learning,positive interest in football learning and football participation(P <0.05).The following conclusions can be drawn from the analysis: 1.Both small group teaching mode and traditional teaching mode can improve students' physical fitness on a certain basis.The amount of classroom participation of experimental group students and the fast pace and high intensity of group football match have a significant impact on students' physical fitness.The results showed that "explosive power","endurance" and "cardiopulmonary function" were significantly better than those in the control group(P <0.05).2,the traditional teaching mode,notice the individual is a single technical practice and small group teaching mode to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability,in the form of two kinds of teaching mode for students in bounce the ball,dribble around the pole,fixed-point technology has greatly improved,and the experimental group and control group after experimental football technical level there is no significant difference(p > 0.05).3.The diverse content forms,active classroom atmosphere and intense and interesting group competition in the small-group teaching mode make students full of interest in football learning and stimulate their willingness to take the initiative in learning.
