The study area of this paper is The Pearl River Delta Region of southeast China (PRDR). Accompanying with the speedy development of the social and economic, the land use types have experienced great change from 1985 to 2000 and Ecosystem Services Value of the PRDR had been changed at the same time. By interpreting three remote sense images of the study area (1985, 1995, 2000), basic data about area of the Land Use/Cover Type of PRDR are extracted. On the basis of these data, we carry out analyses on the extent of LUCC, the speed of LUCC, the degree of the land use, the transfer matrix and Ecosystem Services Value and so on.The result shows that from 1985 to 2000 in the study area, the main land use type have transferred from forest, infield and water to forest infield and construct terra. The total change trend of the land use types of the study area is that all type's area is reducing except construct terra and water area. At the different time segment, the land use type has the different character. From 1985 to 1995, the area of infield, forest and water reduced and the forest reduced most. The area of grass, construct terra and unused land are increased and construct terra increased most. This is consistent with the general trend of the land use. From 1995 to 2000, the area of infield and water show the trend of increase. The area of forest, grass, construct terra and unused land show the trend of reduce. Reduce of the unused land explaining that the using ratio of land has enhanced. The result of the analyses of Ecosystem Services Value shows that the Gross of Ecosystem Services Value declined from 1985 to 2000. The reason is that construct terra increased vastly which Ecosystem Services Value coefficient is minus, so its effect to the Ecosystem Services Value gross is negative. On the basic of above analyses, calculate the pertinence between the land use type and Ecosystem Services Value. The result shows that water and forest have the most influence to the Ecosystem Services Value.
