The advancement of 3G in China as well as the communications market competition, Guizhou Mobile Communication Company is also active in 3G network construction,the introduction of project management theory and method has been applied to a huge investment and high risk of the 3G project,has been a matter of priority.This paper will study the project management in Guizhou Mobile 3G network construction.This article first studied the characteristics of project management,key technology; and then an analysis of project management in the communications engineering;new 3G Softswitch project Guizhou Mobile the impact of the existing maintenance system;final qualification from the Commissioner of management,project scope management, engineering cost control,quality control,progress control,claims management,project management information,after the assessment of eight important aspects of research project management in Guizhou 3G mobile network construction business applications, Guizhou Mobile to 3G in the new round of competition to maintain our edge and competitiveness of the proposed project management programs and constructive ideas.
