Human resources management plays an important strategic role for private enterprises to further improve business management. As an important part of motivating system, compensation system not only directly affects the interest of the working staff in enterprises and the sustained growth of them, but also has a great effect on the competitiveness in human resources. Thus, it's of practically great significance to study the compensation management and establish a new compensation system that is both fair and impartial for employees in team work.Huaxin Network Property Group, established in 1990, is a joint venture by a Chinese company and Singapore company with business philosophy of creating better life together, to provide specialized and humanistic property management and community service as a business partner of real estate developers. It has rich experiences in property management and modern management system applying intelligent network technology to innovate property management and community service, aims to be an excellent property company in China.The paper focuses on designing a practical compensation system in Huaxin Network Property Group, based on such theories as team management, performance appraisal and salary administration, with reference of modern management experiences in the field of property and community service.The paper consists of six parts. The first part introduces the study background, the purpose and significance of the study and the methods. Secondly, it gives a brief account of basic concepts and forms of salary as well as the factors affecting salary scheme. It also introduces some fundamental theories about salary scheme and looks back on the course of development in salary management at home and abroad. The third part points out some problems and then focuses on the analysis of the reasons and roots of them, based on the presentation of the current situation of salary management in Huaxin Network Property Group. The problems includes: considerable discrepancy in the level of the salary management, the state of salary system being divorced from the development strategy of enterprises, the neglect of fair procedures in salary scheme and the out-of-date methods. Fourthly, it puts forward some principles and tactics for optimization of salary system in Huaxin Network Property Group. Then, taking salary investigation, position appraisal and other factors into account, the paper sets the salary level and salary structure that is helpful to motivate the staff. The last part gives suggestions and guidelines in terms of practicing salary scheme which has been carefully worked out for Huaxin Network Property Group.
