Secondary Vocational Schools Hotel Management Majority Schools Teaching Practical Training Research

As an important part of Chinese vacational education, China's secondary vocational education has become the main channel of training the middle-level personnels. With the development of vocational education, the problems related with secondary vocational education have been piling up, which has widely caught lots of scholars' attention, and the hotel management teaching in secondary vocational school is no exception. This study focuses on the problems of teaching the hotel management students in the process of school practical training in secondary vocational school.At first, this thesis clarified the meaning and essence of the school training for the hotel management students, then it analyzed its theoretical basis. In order to obtain the real teaching statistics, this author did a survey and an interview among the students, and this author found that the teaching of school training for the hotel management students has the following common problems: the lack of teaching awareness for the practical training; inadequate construction of training base and management irregularities, disunity of practical training materials. What's more, most of the training contents are out of line with the enterprise practice and the teachers' professional qualities still need to be improved and so on. In response to these, this study used the case of training teaching in Changsha Tourism Vocational school as an example, analysed our school training teaching's conditions, functions, teaching personnel condition teaching models and constructing effective teaching system for school trainging.At last, this study put forward the following teaching strategies for improving the school training teaching in the secondary vocational school: the secondary vocational school must strenthen the awareness of the importance of teaching practical training; construct its the teaching system which can represent the vocational education characteristics; emphasize the teaching material building, optimize the teaching personnel constitution, improve practical training examination system and create the teaching evaluation methods.
