Farmland transfer is an effective way to solve the land fragmentation, and the phenomenon of land uncultivated. It is very important for optimizing the allocation of land resources, raising the efficiency of land use and promoting rural economic development. As the major participant, the wishes and behavior of farmers have a fundamental influence on the farmland transfer. The behavior of farmers is also affected by a variety of factor, therefore, the study on the various influencing factors of farmland transfer undoubtedly has important efforts for advancing the development of farmland transfer. This paper starts with the summarizing of the theory of farmer behavior and the research of farmland transfer. Choosing about 2400 farmers from six provinces around the country for investigation, we make an empirical research on farmers' behavior on farmland transfer. On the basis of theoretical analysis, it puts forward the research hypotheses. Then it explores the main factors that have impact on farmers' behavior on farmland transfer using Logistic model analysis.Several research conclusions are drawn: Land readjustment which breaking the group borders would observably restrain the farmland transfer between farmers. Farmers' behavior on farmland transfer would also be affected by the following variables: the age of householder, the number of field parcel, the area of farmland, the proportion of non-farm income, the proportion of migrant workers in the household, and whether the farmland transfer restricted by government or not.
