The Study On The Information Platform Managing Reform Of JDC-Molybdenum Group Co.,Ltd

JDC-Molybdenum Group co., Ltd is a large national mining group corporation. Information technology plays an important role in production, selling and operation decision of the corporation. However, being the core content of enterprise informatization in JDC-Molybdenum Group co., Ltd. the construction of the information platform is still in the classical way. There are many problems in the information platform, and the outstanding problems include repeating establishment, out-dated management and even not supplying the developing demand. So the construction and management of the information platform in JDC-molybdenum Group was studied in this thesis.At present, the information platform of JDC-molybdenum Group co., Ltd was constituted with the computer network managed by the Information Center and the private telecommunication network managed by the telecommunication department. The thesis investigates the status of the net, employees, operation and business circumstance of the information departments, and analyzes the main problems and reasons. In the network's construction, main problems include lacking unified plan, establishing network repeatedly, developing slowly, managing inefficiently and supporting corporation development hardly. In the private telecommunication network, main problems include enormous employees, overstaffing in organizations, operating inefficiency, high-cost and low serving standard. According to the theory of enterprise informatization, business process reengineering and resource integration, a managing reform proposal was made to solve above problems. The proposal involves merging relative information departments, integrating the computer network and the telecommunication network, making information management institution, improving ERP system and educating employees in information knowledge. At last, the plan of implementing the proposal was made.Through solving the problems of information platform in JDC-molybdenum Group co., Ltd, it can support the developing demand of the corporation powerfully, save capital, improve managing ability and raise corporation's competitive strength.
