Study On The Business Process Reengineering Of Faw-volkswagen Enterprise Based On The ERP

Automotive Industry have made rapid progress and have become the important force of our country. But in current drastic competitive environment, with the globalization and the development of information technology, the market competition have become more and more intense ,thus the automotive enterprise are facing more rigorous challenge .It is difficult for traditional methods to adapt to global competition and rigorous market change. It is the only way for enterprises to survive and develop by business process transformation and product efficiency improvement with IT technology tools.Business process reengineering (BPR) is a type of modern management technique, which could help enterprise to increase its competitiveness, and its ability to survive and development. It was modern management thought and method. Its core concept is to continuously reconsider and revise the business of the enterprise, and then improve the element dramatically, which reflects the enterprises capability as a whole, Including cost, time, quality, service, speed and environment etc.The ERP system takes the modern management theory as basis, information as media, IT as instrument, not only provide a strong basis and condition for business reengineering, but also make the process formal, integrative, digital, controlled, and optimized. The two pieces act to each other。Now integrated application with BPR and ERP Systems is on the cutting-edge of business management and IT technology.This paper is one systemic research to BPR implementation with ERP Systems of FAW-VW which is based on great amount of reality researches and literature materials with different analyzing methodologies, such as observing, theory study, systemic analyze, conclusion and illation methods.In this paper the background and reality value of the research are expounded at the first on which main scope and architect are founded. And then theory methodology and domestic development status of ERP and BPR are introduced. Then domestic automotive industry and FAW-VW up-to-date situation are analyzed which lead the deep probing into pain spots in former business process and ERP Systems of FAW-VW, to which one BPR proposal based on ERP Systems improvements is put forward and explicated. At last estimation and evaluation are made to the proposal.
