A Study On The Development Of Tourist Industry In The Minority Regions Of Western China

The guiding principle for all-round construction of an affluent society was set up in the 16th Party Congress that put forward a clear and definite idea for a breakthrough of speeding up the development of western China within a period of ten years. The 7th Party Congress set forth a key target of completing the construction of a well-off society, whose main point and difficulty lie just in the western regions. Therefore, we must attach much importance to all economic and social problems in the western minority nationality regions, to which a good solution must be found as soon as possible. As far as the foundation and current situation of these regions are concerned, one of the breakthroughs for their development is tourist industry. The paper defines the meaning of"western minority regions", expounds some tactic theory and the operation significance of speeding up the development of tourist industry in these regions, and unveils the all unseen multi factors that handicap the development.
