Research On The Quality Of Economic Development In Western Minority Regions

The quality of economic development has been highly concerned by scholars both domestic and foreign.Since the reform and opening up,whole national economy has made rapid development,but this growth is based on extensive economic growth.It is uncoordinated and unsustainable development,which has become the academic indisputable facts.Only by establishing a coordinated,comprehensive and sustainable economic growth concept,to maintain the speed of economic development,and steadily improve the quality of economic development,in order to achieve the healthy and sustainable development of economy.As a developing country with vast territory,there are significant differences in the conditions of regional economic development in China,which is bound to lack of balance of regional economic development quality.The regional economic development quality distance and the corresponding future policy choice are an important part of the national economy's structure,if the regional economic development distance is too wide,inevitably affect the stability and harmonious development of economy and society development in China.Among them,the main contradiction of regional economic development distance is reflected in the Western Minority Areas.13 th Five-Year Plan is the end of the planning period of a moderately prosperous society,it means that during this nation will vigorously support the economic development of the Western Minority Areas of China.In summary,improved the quality of economic development in the Western Minority Areas,to achieve sustained and rapid development is especially important in the current economic circumstances.Therefore,it is necessary to study the quality of economic development in the Western Minority Areas of China,to let the people of all minority areas share the harvest of a moderately prosperous society.Based on the above considerations,this paper build the economic development quality index according to the “Innovation,Coordinated,Green,Open,Sharing”theories,using Malmquist-DEA,VRS-DEA,SBM-Undesirable-DEA,Cost-DEA model,parameter estimation SFA model and review regression Tobit model to measure the quality of economic development in the Western Minority Areas,and Put forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This paper is divided into four parts to analyze the issue: The first part introduces the content and structure of the paper,and summarizes the related issues.Chapter 1 is the introduction,including the question proposed,the background and the method introduction.Chapter 2 is the analysis of the domestic and foreign research present and tendency of the quality of economic development and the theory & analysis framework of the quality of regional economic development.The third part analyzes the economic development quality in the Western Minority Areas.This part includes4-8 chapters: innovation;coordination;green;open and sharing.The fourth part is the conclusion part.In Chapter 9,on the basis of the third part analysis,conclusion summarizes the related research and development of economic quality in the Western Minority Areas,and propose economy development quality optimization path in the Western Minority Areas systematically,in order to improve the useful reference of the sustained development in the Western Minority Areas.Finally pointed out the shortcomings of this thesis and the prospects for future research.The main conclusions of this paper as follows: With the increased investment of resources,if there is no development to improve economic efficiency,more investment will result in more waste of resources,the core issue of the economic development quality is efficiency;there is a big difference of economic development quality between the Western Minority Areas,it is necessary to give full consideration to the factors affecting the role of boundary.The five dimensions of economic development quality as follows: Optimization innovation;Investment and consumption is the focus of coordinated development;Increase energy conservation efforts;Low degree of openness;Highlight the problem of poverty.
