China is the country now with most 5-star hotels under construction. In recent years, the whole industry is growing fast in both quantity and quality, but is unbalanced in different part of the country.5-star hotel requires for heavy investment while gives a long return period and easy to be affected by social and economic variation. In view of these characteristics, hotel owners and the whole industry pay more and more attention to 5-star hotels development.This paper is concerned with the development planning, operation level, market structure and cost-effectiveness of 5-star hotels in different region and management mode.The paper also gives demonstrations of two points.
