Study On The Owner's Risk Management Of Large Mechanical And Electrical Engineering Project

In china, electrical and mechanical engineering projects take very heavy proportion in the engineering construction. The project has the characteristics of investment quota great, investment period long, and investment risk high. Some have exerted good influence on our national economy and great social and economic benefits are gained. But some have failed to achieve expected effect due to various reasons, which has caused heavy national resource waste. The paper is an effective exploration for the owner's risk management of large mechanical and electrical engineering project.On the basis of the latest research developments at home and abroad, the paper analyses the characteristics of the mechanical and electrical engineering projects (MEEP), so that we can distinguish the MEEP from the civil engineering projects. From perspective of the owner, we analyze the various risks of large mechanical and electrical engineering projects in the full life cycle, including the concept, the formation of risk, the process of risk identification, evaluation and the measures to deal with the risks. Meanwhile, the foreign exchange risk and the risks in the process of design, construction and installation are emphatically analyzed and some suggestions are put forward. Through the game theory, the paper proves the importance of the employer's risk management and uses the AHP method to establish the employer's risk management evaluation system. Then the model of qualitative and quantitative analysis is established. Through these analyses, we can get the integrated system of owner's risk management of large mechanical and electrical engineering project.In construction process of the large mechanical and electrical engineering project, we can identify a lot of risks. So the owner should pay much attention to these risks in the full life cycle, including the internal risks and external risks. It is necessary for the owner to build up the effective system to identify, analyze, evaluate and deal with the risks.The study is for the employers'reference. Meanwhile it is valuable for consulting agents etc.
