The Study On Quality Control Of Beijing Fortune Centre, A PC Contracted Project

Nowadays, project contractor is the trend in the domestic construction work. Many large domestic construction companies are qualified in project contractor management. There are also quite a few companies which possess the premium qualifications in this regard. Due to the diversification and complication of project types and the increasing demands of the owners, it will result in not only the constant improvement of project contractor management of itself, but also the desire for advancing the knowledge base and management level of ours.I have been at work on construction management for around twenty years and been getting involved in quality control of the project contractor for eight years too. During the course of work, I am well aware that quality control of the project contractor has a great impact on the achievement of the project targets. The thesis aims at how to make a proper use of the conceptual theory of the project quality control as a tool and how to coordinate the project with the implementation of quality control, process monitor, cost control, risk control and communication in terms of the attributes of the contracted project, and further to take effective measures in managing the project.In the thesis, I take Beijing Fortune Centre, a comprehensive project which I used to get involved in person, as the study object and integrate theory with practice to address myself to the following aspects—the process of setting up and completing the organization chart and management system in the quality control of the contracted project; the analysis on the keystones and node of the quality control in construction; the effect of implementation of quality control on the project through technical means, for example, in-depth blueprint. Further, a few suggestions on improving the performance of the quality control in the enterprise and promoting management environment in the project contractor are also raised. It is in an attempt, based on my work experience, to enhance the performance of the project contractor management as well as the competence of the enterprise in this regard.
