This paper used the method of factor to classify the agricultural land in Zhouzhi County. The result is : the farmland natural quality class is seven, the farmland utilization class is fourteen and the farmland economy class is thirteen. It is of great importance to study the specific application of agricultural land gradation outcomes in land management. This dissertation explores the application of agricultural land gradation outcomes in estimating arable land yield capability and dynamic balance of total amount of arable land.In the aspect of estimating arable land yield capability, this research based on agricultural land gradation outcomes has constructed the arable land yield capability system, including the study of arable land natural productive potentiality, arable land utilization productive potentiality, arable land economy productive potentiality and arable land yield capability. According to Logistic curve estimation model, arable land yield capability of Zhouzhi County is 545800 tons and arable land yield capability Per unit is 10817.9kg/ha.In the aspect of dynamic balance of total amount of arable land, according to agricultural land gradation outcomes, the computation method of quantity-quality converted coefficient based on three ways: the natural quality index, the farmland utilization index, the yield of standard food-farmland utilization index are adduced. The research results showed that the method based on the yield of standard food-farmland utilization index can be more objective, true to reflect the grain productivity discrepancy of different farmland grading.
