An Analysis To The Factors Affecting Collaboration Effects Of Competitive Strategic Alliances

Competitive strategic alliances can help enterprises to save expense, to seize the opportunity and the strategic advantage rapidly, to strengthen the organization learning capability, to make the resources supplementary and to mold core competencies of enterprise. But simultaneously, the competitive strategic alliances possibly make the enterprise technology and knowledge outflow, and strength competitor's strength. Because of this, numerous enterprises pay more attention to how to choose the partner before the enterprises and their competitors form the relation of the alliance, and to how to carry on the management to the alliance, how to achieve satisfying cooperation effect through the alliance and so on many questions after forming the relation.In this article, we precisely do the empirical study on the factors which affect the collaboration effect in the competitive strategic alliances. Firstly, we study the foreign and domestic documents of relevant content, the proposition is put forward, and the appropriate measures of Resouce Complementarity, Alliance Stability, Alliance Experience, Leader Ability, Corporration Learning Capacity and Collaboration Effect are picked up. Five-point Likert Scale is used to grade these measures. After the pre-test and reasonable adjustment to the questionnaire measures, the formal questionnaire for study is formed.Secondly, we take the survey. By means of Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis and Validity Analysis with the software of SPSS13.0 and Amos6.0, the object is to find the basic structure of factors, and to validate the reliability and validity of indicators. After that, we confirm that each group of factors in RC, AS, AE, LA, CLC and CE have a good fitness and the formal questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Thirdly, we employ SEM to analyze the questionnaire data and tend to validate hypothesis with Amos6.0. The conclusion shows that in the competitive strategic alliance, RC, AS, AE and CLC have a positive significant effect on CE. The biggest effect on CE is CLC, AS next, then AE and RC's effect is smallest. LA dose not have a positive significant effect on CE. Simultaneously we have also analyzed the influence degree of influencing factor to different dimension of collaboration effect.Finally, we carry on the discussion to the empirical study's result, and propose a lot of suggestion which are advantageous to the development of competitive strategic alliances. The conclusions of this paper is useful for practice. Another contribution of this paper is that it establishes the index systems about collaboration effect of competitive strategic alliances and the factors which affect the collaboration effect which have pioneering meanings for the future study.
