Seeing through our human's whole history, we know that new technology is the most powerful strength to push our history forward and development of economy, as far as a corporation is concerned, technology is its source of building and keeping competitive advantage, so, under the environment of intensive competition and customer demands and technology changing faster than ever before, it has been placed on the height of strategy that how to manage and promote its own technology levels by many corporations. More and more looks for acquiring technological resources through strategy alliances.Since the middle of 1990s, some MNCs begin to collaborate with their competitors for technology innovation and new products, it is very meaningful to have a good study to this kind of alliance that both competition and collaboration are exist in it. Meanwhile, it can also provide a new mode and direction of propelling technology forward for our home-corporations. This paper, based on the project"Research for coopetitive strategical alliances'collaboration effect in mathematical model"supported by scientific fund of ChongQing, studies the effect of intensity of competition (IC), technology distance (TD) and process management (PM) in competitive partners to collaboration effect of technology (CE), hoping to settle a basis for future research. We use structural equation modeling mainly in this paper to analyze. The sample is Chongqing's enterprises. Firstly, we study the foreign and domestic documents of relevant content, the appropriate measures of IC, TD, PM and CE is picked up. After the pre-test by expert, the questionnaire is formed.After getting the useful questionnaire, we try to find the basic structure of factors by means of factor analysis and reliability analysis, and through confirmatory factor analysis, we find that each group of factors in IC, TD, PM and CE have a good fitness, the formal questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Finally, we employ SEM to analyze the big-sample data and tend to validate the proposition model with Amos4.0. The conclusion shows that IC, TD and PM have significant effect on collaboration effect, the biggest is PM, and TD next, and IC finally.The conclusions of this paper is useful for practice, meanwhile, based on the domestic and foreign theories, using Survey, FA, SEM and other ways in empirical study, this paper bring forward a whole measuring system of IC, TD, PM and CE for...
